I love cars.
I love video games.
Cars X Video Games = racing games: I love those too.
From Outrun, Rad Racer, RC Pro AM, Stunt Race FX, up and through more modern arcade/sim/simcade stuff like Sega Rally, Auto Modelista, Gran Turismo (unbreak my heart), Forza (only the newer ones), Project Gotham Racing, Enthusia (WHO ELSE KNOWS ABOUT THIS GAME?!?!?!?! IT IS SO GOOD FOR A CONSOLE RACER), Sega GT, and in the last few years, I've fallen into the rabbit hole that is sim racing; games like Assetto Corsa, Project Cars, and just recently, F1 2017.
I've got my G27 and 3 24 inch monitors, and here are the results.
Some quick notes on the game after a few hours - it's pretty damn good. Proper sense of speed requires a few tweaks, but it's in there. Not that I know how a formula car feels to drive at speed, but compared to other games, the cars feel familiar so I don't think they're too far off. It's really pretty to look at too.
It's a nice palette cleanser after my time with GT Sport (it hurts a little to say that).
